Purpose of the job:
Perform first line maintenance on reticulation systems and plant structures to ensure plant / operations performance is maintained within normal operating parameters
- Trade Certificate in Boilermaker/Plater.
- Relevant experience in a mining / chemical environment will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of welding principles and the use of welding definitions and symbols.
- Knowledge of the principles of fabrication and pipe fitting.
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment used in the plant.
- Knowledge and understanding of plant equipment and processes, lock out and isolation procedures.
- Ability to draw, read, interpret, and produces basic engineering drawings (i.e., structural and fabrication).
- Must be medically fit for the BMR.
